I actually followed a $67 product through the exit pages top $7. My theory is that if they I prepared to discount that much then the product was only worth that to start with.
Because we all know about exit discounts now it will inflate the original price and less people will go to the sales page.
Lets face it if you are looking at something in a shop they won’t offer it to cheaper as you leave. Any discounts are shown up front.

Didn’t get to see this post earlier. Just found this link at your post today.

I bought CB Predators. I am a newbie and wouldn’t have much reference to compare the product from. However, I have issues that I feel strongly about:

1. The hype was really effective including the B.S. I bought, right?

2. The Support sucks. They don’t have the proper facility to respond to support tickets. When it came to the point that the members were agitated and concerned, the members have no choice but to raise them on “comments” due to lack of other venues to seek help. So, Chris Fox shut down the “comments” feature before (as he said) “things get out of hand”.

3. He also said – “comments not related to the subject will not be answered”

4. During webinar trainings, many raised concern on his accent because its difficult enough to try to listen and absorb new jargon as a newbie. Instead of getting someone else to speak during audio trainings or someone else to pre-record it, he just said :

“To those who can not understand my accent, you’ll get used to it after some time”.

After ten years full-time online I have learned to run like crazy from anything that offers ‘Instant Nirvana’ with little or no effort on your behalf.

Bottom Line: Anything worthwhile requires diligence and long-term commitment.

I’m not a huge fan of exit pop-ups. Some, remove bonuses in order to reduce the price, which is fair enough. If its a really good product you don’t devalue it by reducing the price point, instead you’re simply tweaking the offer to meet the customers price point.

I have seen exit pop-ups with a price point starting at $69, reducing to $49, then again on a second exit pop-up to $29. I find this unbelievable because a product that I was convinced was worth $69, has now been reduced seemingly out of desperation by $40. If the product isn’t really worth the initial $69, why should I believe its even worth the reduced price.

I love your slider though guys, I’m not a fan of optin pop-ups but this is subtle and unobtrusive, but still effective. Thanks.
